Altecnic 15mm Pressure Reducing Valve No Gauge WRAS Approved
Altecnic 533 Series is specifically made for hot and cold services in homes or flats. It balances hot or cold water supply, or both and guards against too much pressure at outputs like taps and showers. They have a specifically designed diaphragm for precise pressure adjustment in reaction to variations in downstream pressure. Water noise may be effectively reduced by the bigger outlet chamber's low departure velocity. The pressure lowering valve's primary fault is caused by scale deposits, which are less likely to form since the control stem housing of the cartridge is composed of a plastic material with a low coefficient of adhesion.
WRAS approved
533 pressure reducing valves have a specially shaped diaphragm to give accurate pressure regulation in response to changes in downstream pressure
The larger outlet chamber creates a low exit velocity which is effective in reducing water noise
The control stem housing of the cartridge is made from a plastic material with a low co-efficient of adhesion, which reduces the probability of scale deposits forming
The cartridge and strainer screen are easily removed for periodic cleaning and maintenance
Valves for use with copper tube have compression ends complying with BS EN 1254-2
