Foam Pipe Insulation and Lagging

Pipe Lagging is commonly used to insulate central heating pipework and as a pipe insulation in loft spaces to prevent freezing. Our Pipe Lagging/Thermal Insulation is an excellent combination of good performance and low cost and is used for a broad range of domestic applications including:

  • Impact Protection.

Here at Plumbing For Less we offer robust and reliable insulation system to reduce heat losses in heating and plumbing pipes and improve acoustic comfort- Tubolit® DG Polyethylene Pipe Insulation from Armacell - flexible, cost-effective, closed cell, grey foam pipe insulation/lagging material, available in a wide range of standard pipe sizes - 15, 22 and 28mm, and different wall thickness - 3, 13, 19 and 25mm to help with fulfilling energy regulations, all 2.0m lengths. While economically priced, it is an excellent choice for domestic central heating pipes and frost protection and it can also be used externally. More than that, Tubolit® is not fibrous and creates no dust during installation or use, totally CFC- and HCFC-free, with an ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) of zero, and manufactured to quality standard BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and environmental standard BS EN ISO 14001:1996 while meeting Part L ("Conservation of fuel and power") of the Domestic Building Services Compliance Guide for energy efficiency requirements/regulations.

Tubolit® is supplied in slit or semi-slit tubes (depending on wall thickness) which can be easily snapped on or sleeved over the pipe work in the conventional manner.
