Shipping and Returns

Unfortunately, due to the unprecedented rise in the cost of fuel, shortage of drivers and Brexit-related factors, our current courier companies (DPD, FedEx, The Pallet Network) have experienced an increase in fuel and labour costs for the past two years. As a result, they have applied various additional surcharges to cover these costs.

As a company we at Plumbing For Less have tried to absorb these costs wherever possible. However, we have come to the unfortunate decision to pass some of these costs to the end user. We apologies once again for this.

DELIVERY

We will make every effort to deliver within the time stated but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.

Incorrect personal details may lead to problems or delays in delivery. Before placing your order, please ensure that you have included full address details so we can notify you in the event of a delivery problem.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are available to sign for your order on the estimated delivery date specified. From this date, Plumbing For Less Limited must be advised of the loss or non-receipt by the Customer or consignee in writing or by telephone by 5pm on the Next Working Day after delivery or Plumbing For Less Limited will refute the claim. If our courier confirms that a signature was received at the delivery address, we will accept no responsibility for the non-receipt of your order.

We are only able to deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom and it may not be possible to deliver to some locations. Please contact us if you believe that delivery to your address may prove difficult for our courier in any way.

Delivery dates are approximate and no liability whatsoever is accepted in respect of late deliveries. Do not arrange for a installer to install the items until after they have been delivered and checked for discrepancies and to make sure they are undamaged. Carriage cost is non-refundable in case of late delivery as carriage fees are incurred regardless of delivery schedule.

DELIVERY TIMES

Most of standard parcels are delivered via DPD standard delivery times vary but are generally between 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday. Optionaly, if you require a 'timed' or Saturday delivery, this may be optional but may incur an extra carriage surcharge.

If you are unable to accept delivery with this time or require more information please contact us at you earliest convenience to prevent failed deliveries.

In certain circumstances due to high volume of parcels being delivered (for example, at Christmas time) the delivery period may be extended to up to 8:30pm.

DPD provide a trackable delivery service and text / email updates plus a '1-hour' window time slot so you don't have to wait in all day to accept delivery.

CUT-OFF FOR NEXT 'WORKING' DAY DELIVERY

1:30pm – Telephone orders.

1:30pm Long lengths exceeding 2m.

2:00pm Fragile / palletised deliveries.

3:00pm – Website online orders (standard parcels).

Mainland UK Next Working Day Delivery (subject to stock next day delivery from availability):

EU / International Delivery If you require delivery outside of the UK please contact us for further details and a quotation. Any export to the EU (where possible) is priced and quoted individually.

Note: Our website cannot automatically calculate delivery charges to address outside of the UK as each location has a specific charge and is subject to other volumetric charges relating to parcel size and weight.

Failure to contact us prior to confirm charges may result in order cancellation and refund.

We are now offering DPD 10:30 and DPD 12:00 services (standard parcels ONLY), to ensure your parcels arrive by 10:30am or noon the next working day.

Please choose required service from the drop down menu in your basket, DPD 10:30 is subject to £30.00 carriage charge, DPD 12:00 - £20.00 carriage charge.

DAMAGE & INCOMPLETE DELIVERY

IMPORTANT: We ask for all goods to be checked for any obvious damage upon arrival. If any damage is found or likewise, if items delivered are found to be incomplete - you must inform Plumbing For Less (by phone or email) WITHIN 24 HOURS OF DELIVERY. Returns or a refund for damage or incomplete, cannot be made after this time.

SPECIFIC DELIVERY REQUESTS

Specific delivery requests will be accepted at our discretion; where the special delivery requests are accepted these specific requests will be used by Plumbing For Less as a signature/confirmation of receipt. See terms above.

CANCELLATIONS

We endeavour to provide the best customer service possible. Should anything go wrong, we will make every effort to resolve the issue. However, should the problem be unsolvable, or you prefer to amend or cancel your order, please contact us.

If you decide to cancel an order after the products have been despatched and commenced their carriage to you by carrier or post, we may charge you for the carriage of those products. We advise you check the status of the order before you request cancellation. Any charges will be communicated to you before we confirm the cancellation.

You are entitled to cancel any payment at any time where fraudulent use has been made of your credit or debit card by another person not acting on your behalf or as your agent and be re-credited by us to the extent that such sums are not reimbursed by the card issuer.

Once Plumbing For Less receive notification from you that you wish to withdraw from the contract (in accordance with these terms), any sum debited to Plumbing For Less from your credit

RETURNS

You may return any delivered products you have purchased within 14 days of delivery. To do so you must notify us within 14 days of delivery.

If the product delivered is not what you ordered (including an unapproved substitute product) or does not correspond with its description; the product delivered is not of a satisfactory quality; and you have notified us within 14 days, we may replace the item or affected parts or you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.

IMPORTANT: While in your possession, you must keep any products you intend to return to us in good condition. Products must be returned in the same condition as they were delivered. Care must be taken to ensure the return products are packed well to avoid damage or loss of parts in transit. You will be responsible for the returned products until they reach us. Goods returned previously fitted, damaged, incomplete or with damaged packaging will incur variable restocking charge (subject to inspection), as per point 11.6 of our Consumer Conditions Of Sale.

Please note: Exceptions to the returns policy - Unless product is deemed to have a manufacturing fault, printed circuit board (PCB) parts/spares, gas carrying parts, items that we have to order especially for you and made to order items are non-returnable.

In some cases, we/the product manufacturer may be able to resolve some faulty products without the need of returning them. You can find useful information and contact details of some manufacturers, products of which presented on Plumbing For Less website.

Please be aware of changes in our returns process: We implemented Return Authorisation Numbers - you are required to contact us to obtain the RAN number if you wish to return your purchased item(s). Please call or email us (please find details below) for this number before returning any item(s) in order for us to process your return and issue a subsequent refund as quickly and efficiently as possible.
